Renowned Taiwanese fashion label fuyue presents a new generation of uniforms created exclusively for CMP INSPIRATION. Drawing from the architectural language of the museum—designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma—designer Jerry reinterprets the building’s signature sense of fluidity into wearable form.
Through the integration of linear elements and pleating techniques, the uniforms evoke the museum’s distinctive texture and spatial rhythm. The design moves away from conventional uniform standards, offering a refined yet understated visual identity that speaks to the role of the staff without relying on overt symbols or branding.
Constructed from pure cotton with a raw, tactile finish, the garments emphasize structure, materiality, and movement. Seam lines flow organically across the shoulders, chest, and hem, forming a clean and sculptural silhouette. Irregular placements introduce a quiet dynamism, echoing the layered geometry of the architectural space.
Balancing aesthetics with function, the vest includes two practical pockets that enhance usability while preserving the clarity of the design. The result is a thoughtful synthesis of fashion and architecture—expressing identity, intention, and place.
