Celebrated for transforming everyday beauty into creative design, googoods design brings a fresh perspective to CMP INSPIRATION with a series of imaginative “reinterpreted masterpieces.” Iconic works such as La Persistencia de la Memoria, The Scream, and The Gleaners are reimagined in playful, thought-provoking forms.
Long-time collaborator and designer Chuang Chihong sees CMP INSPIRATION as a space where storytelling thrives—filled with humor, whimsy, and interaction. With bold vision, he reinterprets the work of world-renowned artists like Salvador Dalí, Edvard Munch, and Jean-François Millet, inviting visitors to explore art beyond traditional boundaries.
On the museum’s first floor, ten interactive furniture pieces take the shape of stone pedestals inspired by celebrated sculptures such as Discobolus, The Thinker, and The Statue of Liberty. But something’s missing… the sculptures themselves? Exactly. These pieces remain “unfinished” until visitors sit, pose, or interact—becoming part of the artwork themselves.
Each pedestal carries two subtle clues: the original creation year carved into its surface and a nameplate beneath. Drawing from the enduring appeal of classic works, googoods design selected sculptures with strong visual associations—perfect for a quirky reinterpretation.
Visitors are invited to move freely, strike a pose, and transform into living sculptures. Don’t forget to snap a photo and become a masterpiece in your own right.
